You run into problems, though, if you do that. If you believe the timetables, Smoltz isnt coming back until June. Thats another 6 turns of the rotation. Do you want to have 2 kids in the rotation (assuming Buchholz and Masterson)? Or would you rather see if Penny can right himself.
