obviously, this doesnt warrant its own thread but I wanted to post it somewhere. On EEI, Pete Sheppard just asked Lou Merloni "if Daniel Bard comes up this year, do you think it will be for a spot start or relieving?"

Have you been to Cleveland? I was there several times in the mid nineties and I was surprised how cosmopolitan it was. Lots of nice people. It was kind of stark and industrial.

Still, not quite as ghastly as peoples image of it.

Superb pitching matchup tonight. You have an All-Star starter on one side, and a top prospect on the other.

Right guys?

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized it isn't 2005.

It's okay Mr. Morgan, but please do talk about Robinson Cano a tad bit more.

I didn't get enough of it on Sunday.

Lived there for 2 years. Pretty much a dead and cold city like Pittsburgh and Detroit. Not a great place to be if you are trying to make a career.

A valid observation. I had a good time.

The weather report for Cleveland is ominous. It has been raining all day and showers are in the forcast until 9:00PM. It's cool. too. In the high 40's. After three record days above 85.

Hopefully he roided his mind out while he was away LOL

BTW sorry for being lazy and not looking it up, but what is the Sox longest ever winning streak? 12?

Is that Julian Tavares? Who is he pitching for, the Guardians?

Isn't he still with the Nationals?

It is actually a nice place to visit in summer. But I like living in NYC for a living.

NYC has much more to offer from an employment standpoint, as well as culturally. That goes without saying. You live there and follow the Sox? You are a highly developed human being!

They won 12 in a row in 2006 and I dont remember that being the record

Upon a bit of research, they won 15 in a row in 1946

I lived in Mass for long time and kinda got included in RSN. Funny you said so - but I find lota Sox fans in NYC ( like A700 in this site). I have not seen a lot of Yankee fans in New England area however.

Hang around B.U. and Tufts! Particularly B.U. Lots of N.Y.C. kids. Still, it's hard to buck the tide around here. Go Sox!
