With the win we end this one at 2-4, and combine it with a brutal series matchup against the Rays, and there isn't any real reason to pessimistic.

The offense got on all cylinders. Drew & Lowell have been looking good, Ortiz got his 1st XBH of the season, Ellsbury got a hit in with the bases loaded & 2 outs. Nick Green has been doing a better job than expected as the fill in for Lowrie/Lugo

 

Now the Sox have a day off to rest some. 4 game series vs the Sox. Id be surprised if its anything less than a split

Very much so, especially considering just how hard the A's were finding keeping up with it. Wake really had it dancing yesterday, and Kot handled it just fine. I think he's gonna work out great.
