Nick Adenhart dies in felony hit-and-run

Just saw on CNN that Nick Adenhart was killed in a traffic accident last night hours after pitching in the Angels game.

 

Holy s*** this is crazy. Awful.

Terrible news. He was a great prospect with a bright future in baseball ahead of him, and now this young, baseball-loving kid with family and friends cheering him on every day is gone forever because some douchebag couldn't wait two minutes for a red light.

 

I would have less venom for the guy if he didn't flee the scene of a triple homicide. Own up to your mistake. You took the life of a promising young man and two other equally promising people and all you did was run away.

 

Sympathies to the Adenhart family, his friends, and his teammates. I'll be rooting for the Angels tonight.
