Again, as bosox said, when did i mention the might of legends such as George Kottaras, Jason Varitek and Nick Green?

 

It was obviously a stupid comment meant to be funny which FAILED, but i don't contend with the fact that it's true.

Swisher's playing well, but that's a good point. Unless the MLB is going to make some Yankee rules and allow them a 10 man lineup, somebody has to sit.

 

Now, early in the season, given Swisher's career splits, Nady sits. Swisher is a .900 OPS player in April, .830 in May, and about .800 after that. Play him while he's hot.

You realize both Damon and Swisher can play CF? If Gardner keeps sucking, they won't have a choice.

For a team that is already rather poor defensively, I don't really think the Yankees would do this. And now there is concern about Nady's health.

Gardner is batting .296 with a .327OBP. Not great, but a good enough start to see if he can be useful
