Just saw the replay' date=' why didn't posada just walk into the dugout and just ignore him?[/quote']

i agree he was just pissed off and kept thinking about it and knew he was gonna do it when he saw carlson near the plate.

I never said Posada was in the right' date=' however it is no worse than what Youkilis did. I highly doubt he gets more than five games.[/quote']

i said the least he should get is 5. i am not saying he should get like 10. i think youk deserved a little more than 5 but i think both actions were equal. your eyes are a little clouded because you are a yankees fan.

Can someone give me a concise list of the events that occured' date=' in chronological order?[/quote']

watch espnnews they show everything.

two jays get hit in the inning. then couple innings later posada gets thrown behind. then he gets on and when gardner gets a hit posada bumps carlson the pitcher and posada gets tossed and then they fight.

I think you could go ahead here and ask any of the regular posters if I show Yankee bias, and I think you would getting resounding "no". I never said that what Youkilis did was worse. They probably deserve similar suspensions.

1. Fight started

2. I'm guessing someone got ejected :dunno:

3. Yankee gets hit again

Mitre hit 2 Blue Jays in one inning, then the Blue Jay pitcher threw behind Posada. Posada got on base, scored on a hit; when he was walking back to the dugout, the pitcher was standing by the plate and Posada bumped into him. The Blue Jay had some words, Posada got ejected, and then went for the pitcher. An intense brawl ensued. Girardi and the Blue Jay pitcher took the brunt of the damage.

...and that's the ballgame. Oh well, can't complain about losing a game started by Halladay and Mitre.

You forgot Melancon continuing his pussy act by drilling hill in the back.

Kind of a bitch move by Posada, sounds like. I mean, I would have been pissed too, but you should settle that stuff by charging the mound if you really have to retaliate, not by shoving the guy like a schoolkid as you walk by. On top of that, you should expect a ball behind you or off of you when your pitcher nails two opposing batters.

Ah well, that's baseball.

I assume by continuing you're talking about Pedroia...

Do you really think that was intentional?

Then you're clearly not a true fan

I don't understand how even Yankee fan(s) can suggest that what Youk did was worse than what Posada did.

Posada threw an elbow at a guy while he walked by

Youk ran at the guy, and when the guy tried to run away, Youk THREW SOMETHING AT HIM and then tackled him

I think Youk's actions were slightly worse, though both are stupid, dangerous, and unprofessional and deserve suspensions.

What was the score then' date=' 13-4?[/quote']

Yeah, obviously it's possible that it was intentional, but that hardly proves it. There is too much uncertainty to talk about it as if it's a fact.

Posada has always been a punk. I remember him getting twisted when Manny styled on a HR in a game when the Yanks still were leading late in a game. He's a f***ing idiot telling a HOF player like Manny anything. A .260 hitter talking trash to Manny. How ridiculous!

I remember when Posada was yelling at Farnsworth for not agreeing to throw the pitch he wanted and it looked like they were going to fight. That would have been an extremely dumb career move for Posada had that occurred. I'm predicting a career ending move.

i remember in the game when clemens threw at manny's head and posada walking on the field and yeliing in spanish at pedro for throwing a inside offspead pitch.

Saying Clemens threw at Manny's head is a bit of an exaggeration.

I couldn't agree more. I really think Posada is a punk!

From what I saw, were the Yankees throwing at two guys’ heads and Toronto throwing at Posada's legs. If this is really how it went down, then Posada is a f***ing idiot. They did not try and hurt him. They were just letting them know to stop throwing at their players.

And please do not compare this to the Youk thing.
