ha Dutchy you are tryin to get an argument going here hahaha

Oops, my bad :lol::lol::lol:

Just giving the resident troll a hard time.

hey i dont have a problem with it' date=' i just thought it was funny...[/quote']

Yeah, I figured. Jacko's usually pretty vocal. So if he doesn't take up an argument like that, you have to figure it's not an argument he thinks he can win.

Sometimes I like to test him to see just how far out from reality he'll go to argue the greatness of the Yankees and their players.

maybe or maybe he just doesnt feel like arguing because neither one of you are going to convince each other anything...(dont take that the wrong way, i agree with everything you said)

It could be. But I've noticed that he's become a lot less vocal than he was when I first joined the site. I'd like to think it was because of the beat downs I gave him in some arguements. I had people sending me private messages laughing at how much I embarrassed him.

it is certainly enjoyable, id say to do the same thing to Gom but he rarely has any even semi-valid points or stats to prove anything so you really dont need to do anything to Gom ha

Gom's like an angel compared to Jacko. Gom admits Chamberlain has limitations as a starter while Jacko claims that Joba's curve (with a negative run differential) is a plus pitch. Jacko claims Burnett's dominant, then claims that Penny with similar stats (and better sabermetrics) is a poor pitcher. He really is off on his own planet. I haven't ever seen Jacko make a comment that didn't either support the Yankees or criticize the Red Sox.

9-1' date=' they will keep pace[/quote']

Looks like it, but I love watching the Yankees try to keep pace after the Red Sox have already taken care of business.

I will however say that i did find Jackos thread following the draft was very nice and i did appreciate the updates

2 more vs Minny and 3 vs Anaheim in Anaheim.

BTW, I feel bad for Cervelli. He's been everything we could ask for out of a backup, but he's going down to AAA after today's game

Yeah, Cervelli's done well and he's caught most of Sabathia's starts, hasn't he? It'll be interesting to see how CC transitions to another catcher.

thats a rougher schedule than the sox's we might finish the first half 3 games up if we dont f*** the rest of these games up

Yeah, going on a 1 team west coast trip before the All-Star game is rough. The Yankees have 2 more west coast trips after the All-Star break because of that.

your ace has a 3.62ERA' date=' ours has a 3.76. Not much difference.[/quote']

Our ace has a FIP in the low 3's. If you want to look at real stats, just let me know. But I'm pretty sure you were thoroughly embarrassed last time we did this after you claimed Burnett has been dominant.

I don't think I was around for that. Maybe he can make another positive impression next year

The Yankees are a better team than the Red Sox right now' date=' but they just can't beat us.[/quote']

I can't wait to face them again and pad our lead some more :D

well i enjoyed that thread but he then had to have the thread about the next "Miguel Cabrera" lol playing catcher in the Yanks farm system...

Yeah, that's the point where the whole thread began to make fun of him, he called us all idiots, and left. Pretty common pattern for his threads.

poor' date=' poor Jacko...lol[/quote']

You have to wonder why he posts in a Red Sox forum when he routinely gets made fun of for making comical homer comments. I think he has such a grudge against the Red Sox that he finds it worth it to get in his daily digs at the team, even if he is the laughing stock of the site.

I can understand why some Yankees fan are here. Plenty of them make logical points and provide good discussion. And it's always great to joke around with them.

I just don't get why a Yankees fan would join this site for the prime purpose of bashing the Red Sox. Maybe it's an inferiority complex, I doubt you'd see much of this before 2004.
