LOL Wtf?

Since you seem to be struggling with the concept of the awesomeness of this board, just think about how happy you get if you add throbbing cock to your every mundane thought. The joy you experience with that augmenation is the joy most of us get at this board without external help.

Hughes lowered his ERA tonight giving up 3 runs in 5 innings' date=' including 2 HRs.[/quote']

Aside from the mistake to Wiggington he was nasty. 9 Ks and only 1 walk.

Oh right, you're a Sox fan.

Oh, it was just one mistake. Otherwise, he dominated the fearsome O's? Oh, okay. I guess it is cause for encouragement for Yankee fans when their top prospect gives up 3 earned runs on 2 HRs in 5 innings in a game that he dominated. I guess that makes his really terrible games not seem that bad comparatively.

Isn't 5 IP,3 ER NOT a quality start?

Just sayin'.

There were positives that you could take from his outing today, mainly his velocity and his ability to miss bats. Nobody is claiming that he pitched great by any stretch.

Here's my post that Diony got nasty about:

I didn't offer any opinion about his performance at all. I just gave the stats. Is it a quality start? I thought a quality start was at least 6 innings. I certainly wouldn't be crowing about him being nasty tonight, but that's just me.

Dude i was agreeing with you saying it was NOT a quality start, therefore, nothing to write home about.

You're right. Just tired from watching too many west coast games this week.

Hughes did well. I really hope that he goes in the pen. I'd much rather see him than Albaladejo or Veras.

The announcers made a point today. Maybe if he lets it all out in the pen, he can be an asset. Considering the state of the of the middle part of the pen, it's worth a shot.
