I like Wang, but it's time for Wang to work it out in the minors. He will now have 3 of the Yankees 6 losses, and he has utterly killed the Yankee bullpen.

 

He needs to go to Scranton, figure it out, and then come back strong [hopefully]. Give Hughes or Tomko a shot, and actually, I'd bring up both. Hughes to start, and Tomko as a long reliever. Claggett was the sacrificial lamb today.

 

I hope they go through with it.

 

On the bright side, he didn't walk anybody today.

I just got home from work, turned on the TV, tuned into the Yankees-Cleveland game, looked up at the time and was glad that the game just started 1/2 hour ago, then look up and see 14-2 in the scorebox. I thought being down 7 runs in the second was bad, but 14, holy lord.

I would go with Hughes if I had to pick one. Tomko has been working in relief towards the end of the games down in Scranton anyway, not starting or long relieving. Idk if he's officially their closer but he's been mainly setting up and finishing games for them. I think he deserves a shot too after f***ing Clagget get sent down.
