I will be in Boston July 14th thru July 19th 2010. the are at home vs the Rangers. I am looking for tickets to the Thursday and Saturday games. Does anyone have a good deal for a lifetime RedSox fan making his first visit to Fenway? Or can I get them on game day for cheaper. Getting them the day of the game could be tricky. I haven't tried this before but you'll probably pay a premium. It's definitely harder to find good seats at Fenway at the last minute. I would recommend using Stubhub. Also, check out http://www.preciseseating.com for the exact location of the seats.

Abolutely agree. Many times the price is more than double the actual price of the ticket what with their "shipping and handling" fees. But unfortunately it's about the only way you can be certain you'll get tickets these days and since he's coming from out of state, I wouldn't rely on the scalpers.

A lot of times you can get tickets off StubHub for fairly cheap close to game time from people just trying to get rid of them and pick it up at their office right across the street. I did that twice last year and paid 31 and 22 to go to 2 games. It works especially well on makeup dates.

Yeah their office is pretty close to Fenway. You just have to walk down by that Pizzeria Uno down the street on the corner and it's in an upstairs office building next door.

I have two tickets to the 5/4 game against the Angels, and can't make the game. I'm looking to trade them for two tickets to another game in a comparable location. I'm definitely willing to take games against inferior teams.
