That doesn't mean that he does it left handed though...not everyone satifies themselves with their dominate hand....

You seem to know a lot about jerking off, sir........<_>

Not necessarily. I'm just saying that you can't say that he MUST use his left hand because he is left handed. You could in fact be right, but it's not a full proof assumption, as I'm sure there are many exceptions.

With that said, I think that is certainly enough on the topic. So what's your view on foreign policy DipreG??

Im already counting down the days till the season starts but first im reved up for the World Baseball Classic. Going to be one good tournament and I have a feeling this is going to be another great year for the Sox.

I can't say that I agree with you. I found the WBC to be pointless and a risk to our players who were playing. I wish they did away with the whole thing, it just wrecks our players for the season.

I'll take partial responsibility for that one. With the help of DipreG of course...

Lol, i'll take my share of the blame as well.......

Looks as though a lot of them have showed up already. Beckett, Lester, Dice-K, Smoltz, Penny, Saito, Bowden and Delcarmen are the ones I've read

I dunno Im still one who loves this tournament I mean if it was really that bad the players wouldn't play in the tourny I think it adds a good international competition to the game and seeing as how there is no more Olympic baseball this is really the only way that there will be international competition in baseball. I do agree though that it's a risk but if the players don't want to take the risk they don't have to.

Saito in camp did an 8 minute mound session. He threw 33 pitches, mixture of fastballs, curveballs and sliders. He felt fine afterwards

The way I see it a player can just as easily get injured in his team's spring camp as he can in the WBC.

To some players, the WBC is for the pride of their country (Sox FO is knowingly uneasy about Dice-K). Spring Training is nothing but practice as the players get prepared for the season

The list

Pitchers

Bard: we know him

Cabrera: nice minor league numbers, bad major league numbers

Gonzalez: a nobody

Johnson: ok numbers in AA

McBeth: converted from OF to P, good K numbers

Richardson: not much to look at

Traber: a once upon a time prospect

Zink: .......

Catcher

Maldonado: roster filler

INF

Anderson: we know him

Chavez: no stick SS

Green: AAA roster filler

Ochoa: no stick middle inf

Velasquez: journeyman no stick inf

OF

Ambres: AAA roster filler

Bailey: may get a look for the bench, versatile...could serve the bench well and be an emergency C

Daeges: looks like a decent minor league bat

McAnulty: good minor league numbers, hit .343/.440/.646/1086 OPS last year in AAA

Reddick: good AA numbers, poor showing in AAA

So what is your point? They both require that you physically play the game. I bet you just as many, if not more injuries occur this spring in big league camps than in WBC camps.

Wow I must have missed the Traber signing, I was completely unaware. He broke camp in the Yankee bullpen last year but eventually struggled in the bigs and was up and down all season. He's got a good arm, maybe he can do something for you guys.

No pictures to support this but Beckett threw a bullpen session today and apparently looks like he's in good shape...as opposed to last Spring

That's good to hear...last year he came in looking like he'd utilized the Curt Shilling off-season regimen.
