Pedroia, became the Heart and Soul of a big time franchise. The underdog quality of him( he's a wee one he is), played all aspects of the game.

Pedroia. Doesn't necessarily top the list in the typical MVP categories but anyone who watched the Sox this year could see how much he meant to the team

Dustin Pedroia|.326|17|83|.869|122|.299|62.3|9.8

Kevin Youkilis|.312|29|115|.959|143|.313|55.8|8.4

Joe Mauer|.328|9|85|.864|137|.315|55.5|9.6

Justin Morneau|.300|23|129|.883|137|.306|45.5|8.6

Josh Hamilton|.304|32|130|.901|136|.309|57.1|8.1[/table]

I would say it's a two horse race between Mauer and Pedroia simply because offense is so difficult to find at those positions. I'll give the slight edge to Pedroia because of the edge in VORP and WARP1.

Carlos Quentin might win it. IMO' date=' it should be Youkilis, but I think they both end up stealing votes from each other and someone else will win it[/quote']

Do you mean Quentin and Youk or Pedroia and Youk? But yeah I kind of agree if Youk and Pedroia.

Hamilton flared out after the All-Star break. Despite the feel good story, I don't see him getting the MVP.

I'm shooting for Pedroia or Youkilis. I'd really like to see Pedroia get it. He plays a great defensive second baseman, and the guy can f***ing hit when everyone said just the opposite.

ROY, WS Ring, and MVP is a excellent way to berth a life long career in Boston.

I think Pedroia has the edge. But him and youk are going to split votes. Leaves room for Morneau to jump up there.

Pedroia' date=' only guy who can hit in the clutch on the team. Without him Redsox 4th place easily.[/quote']

Nothing but whites on the ballot. Your kind of award

Youkilis hit .374 with runners in scoring position.

I guess the rest of the team is a bunch of incompetent fools who don't know their *******s from holes in the ground.....<_>

There is 3 hitters who can hit everyday on this team. Pedroia Bay Youkilis.

I really hope Morneau doesn't win it. He isn't even the best player in the league at his own position, which is why Youks will split the vote.

Well shoot, that dog won't hunt.....

When trying to further explain your point, you shouldn't contradict(http://http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/contradict) yourself. you stated that Pedroia was the only clutch hitter, but in your very next post, you claim there a 3 players that can hit everyday.

I'm having trouble seeing your hill-billy logic:dunno:
