Sorry all...as much as I want to, I can't try to annoy you today. Not for the win, or the loss. This is because Ratchet is going home, and I am happier than you can imagine.

 

When people like dreilly, SOTK, Thumper, ORS, Coco's Disciples, and The Dustball help me out in a cause that matters to me, I just can't root against them today.

 

I may be rooting against the Sox, but not against my friends, at least for today.

 

Good luck, and may the better team win.

 

Clearly, we've had our differences especially as of late but I do have to commend you for advocating that cause

If the Sox win, most of my coworkers will give me leeway to be insufferable. One of them told me after losing someone close, he's rooting for the Sox just so I can be happy for a bit. I thought that was really nice, especially considering how miserable he must be regarding his team (he's a Mets fan).

It also works if you view that small child as the Devil Rays fans and the pin as any member of the Boston Red Sox.
