Ortiz hasn't hit a ball hard in what feels like a month. I understand that we can't remove him from the lineup because of the possiblity of his power returning, and I agree with that to a degree. But why do we have to have him right in the middle of what should be the true heart of the order. Pedroia, Youk, Bay, and Drew are the only guys doing anything right now. Oh, and Crisp too, but he's not dreamy enough to be in the game.
