Rays up 2-0. White Sox have a modest chance to get it back to Tampa with Danks and Floyd going, but I bet the Rays wrap it up in Chicago.

I'm in Chicago now, the sense of doom between the ChiSox and Cubs is palpable.

It's appropriate that Sonnenstine pitches for a Florida team. Might as well keep "Rocket Shows" something special about the state. How this guy made it through the whole year as a starter on a division leading team is a complete mystery. The CWS have lashed about 4 balls in 2 innings today, with nothing to show for it.

There's something to be said about being able to locate multiple pitches and throw lots of innings. I think Sonnanstine and Kennedy are going to have very similar career paths. No dominance, but capable of eating innings and keeping the walks down. That is, if Kennedy ever develops from the neck up.

Right now, no doubt. Going from his SR and his minor league numbers, there seems to be a disconnect when he comes to the bigs. The question is whether he gets over it in our system or in someone else's, or ever.
