No doubt. And that's a nice option to have. Consistency is a beautiful thing.

 

It's nice having Byrd to rely on rather than wondering what inning Buchholz is going to blow up in. Now I definitely look forward to the contributions Buchholz will give us in the future, but he obviously needs some minor league tuning up and that's what he's getting.

Im liking the Byrd acquistion. Nice to see Bailey making a case to be the backup next year, along with Varitek's recent power surge
