I like him alot. He's just solid. Not flashy or dominating, he just plain gets the job done. Perfect for this team because he keeps us in the game and gives our offense a chance to win the game.

You know what you're going to get with Byrd every time. Around 6-7 innings, around 3-4 runs. Good win tonight, Lowrie was of course awesome, Pedroia did his thing, etc.

Now that I am watching him pitch regularly, it seems that he is more effective against guys he has faced before than guys who has never faced. That tells me that he is making adjustments faster than the batters.
