What a game to be at. So this Zink guy isn't that good glad he got a chance though. And Theo as much as I clash with his moves I love the Byrd move.. Gamer can give you innings good 5th starter.

Lowell doesn't sound optimistic about his condition. What will the lineup look like without Lowell for an extended period? I am guessing that Bay bats 5th, Lowrie 6th, with 7,8 and 9 being Casey, Varitek and and Ellsbury/Crisp. It's not exactly an awe-inspiring lineup.

We're definitely going to need to replace Lowell's bat somehow. Unfortunately our best change of doing that is the underinspiring Jeff Bailey. Not exactly preferable to Mikey.
