the offense cant score 5+ runs every game ' date=' they go trough slumps sometimes[/quote']

Sometimes? Most of the times might be more appropriate.

Now I will scratch JB's back.

Why did we sign Chris Carter again? How has Moss worked out so far?

Exactly....how the hell do the Red Sox not bring up Chris Carter knowing Youkilis needs to get his eye checked out. They should have made that move before Youk got hurt and Casey was ready to serve his suspension. Instead Youk gets hurt, Casey goes on suspension, and.....still no move?

Moss is doing well for a rookie.

Thanks for the backscratch, though!

Oh my god. CB already said they were second in the league in runs scored.

Are you clinically stupid, or do you ignore anything that doesn't help you make your idiotic points?

Not sure if you are sarcastic!

Anyway - Manny has been DHing - Carter will be worse than Moss at 1st base - but still might be worth to give him a chance.

Chris Carter was brought over in the trade for WMP.

Again, do your f***ing research.

That added so much value to the discussion - but the point still remains same.

No I bring a different viewpoint - that's all.

Red Sox have the best record against NL in recent years - it will really suck if they loose two interleague series at home.

What is your point? To freak the f*** out after a five game slump? This team is SECOND in runs scored.

Its not sarcastic. Who cares about 1st base defense....we need some damn offense and Chris Carter brings excellent offense...makes sense to me

No - I am just trying to be objective. I think our hitting is overrated as it will almost always be 1 or 2 guys carrying the whole team. That does not always work out.

And they are 4th in runs scored and RBI. Not that I am a stat' s guy at all or i care for it- but you did mention it 2 times already.

Ortiz (not now, but still), Ramirez, Drew, Youkilis, Lowell are all very very good hitters. Ellsbury? Pedroia, despite slumps recently? C'mon man, this offense is damn good.

2nd in the AL.

4th in MLB.

We're performing better than 26 other clubs, but this offense is always in a slump.

Great point.

They are all good hitters - absolutely. But still it is only 1-2 players this year that has become hot.

Manny then Drew then Ortiz then Youk then Coco for a little bit then Drew then none now.

You see what I am saying?
