Dunn, bonds, or griff would suit me just fine no matter the time table on ortiz. Less griff, more the former.

If they are going to go for an external option, it should be Bonds because 1. he's the best option, and 2. he only costs money, not talent. That said, give Carter a shot while it's still only 3-4 weeks. Go for the external option if it looks like he's gone for the season.
