Scouting Report:

Angels: Garland had a solid outing on Thursday night, picking up his second win of the season to even his record at 2-2 and lowering his ERA to 4.81. Garland gave up seven hits and walked two, but only allowed two runs in 6 1/3 innings. Garland kept the ball on the ground against the Royals, with 13 outs being recorded by the infield.

Red Sox: Matsuzaka continues to struggle with pitch efficiency. He needed 116 pitches to get through five innings on April 13, barely lasting long enough to get credit for a win. Then in his last start, he needed 101 pitches to get one out deep into the sixth before leaving with a 9-3 lead. On the bright side, the right-hander has won his four starts since a no-decision on Opening Day in Tokyo. He has fanned 28 but walked 17 in 28 2/3 innings.

The Red Sox made a roster move by calling up reliever Craig Hansen from Triple-A Pawtucket after sending pitcher David Pauley back down

Dice-K has been scratched' date=' Lester is starting. This flu thing is starting to piss me off.[/quote']

What the f***?

Did they get SARS in Japan? Wait that's China...

The f*** is going on in that clubhouse? I swear if we lose any more good pitching to this "flu" I'm punching a hole in the wall.

Thats it.....Jon Lester just sucks

HEY! I'm not giving up on Lester and you sure as Hell better not either.

With that said I refuse to watch this game on the count I'm lazy and don't want to log into MLBtv right now.

Not really bro

Prove me wrong...explain to me how he is a good pitcher. He had average velocity, no plus plus pitches, and poor control. I've been patient and will continue to be in the hopes something shows up from him but the fact is right now...he sucks. He walks more than he Ks and thats a bad sign. He gets behind more batters than he gets ahead...thats a bad sign.
