Its early, no one really looks great at the plate at this point due to whatever. Pedroia looked like crap to start last yr as well. Ellsbury might start slow but he will get into it eventually.

I agree. I think it all depends how the rest of the pen works out. If Albaladejo or Ohlendorf step up, or Farnsworth becomes reliable (I know, I know) or Hawkins stops getting his tits lit then Joba can be transitioned in a long relief role piggybacked with kennedy or he could be sent down. If the rest of the pen takes a nosedive, then I dont know if they'll do it.
