What a storybook ending of te season for jon lester. Good for him. I thought it was great that he could just make it back to the majors this year. He looked like a veteran on the mound tonight.

Word....like I said when he took the mound, this will be a night he never forgets. Luckily, it was for all the right reasons.

We joke about him, but if we didn't have him it wouldn't have been fair at all. We would have run away with the Division and the boys might have gotten complacent in the playoffs. So, maybe he served some peverse purpose.

Weird - in 2004 - I thought Faulk deserved it more than Manny.

 

This year - I thought Paps deserved it more.

 

I love Mikey - but it will be hard to bring him back now. His value is gonna sky-rocket.

My guess is he's a functional illiterate and couldn't spell Brooklyn. Typical of their kind. MWID and not that swift. The Red Sox won the World Series twice in my lifetime. I think I'm going to end all of my meetings with a photo of this fact. My employees will have to get used to it. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it.

Whether he's back or not, a heckuva year for Mikey Lowell. Not a bad effort from a guy who isn't known for having a strong second half of the season. Mike, you couldn't have had a stronger second half. Thank you.

Much love to everyone here. It was a wonderful season sparked with events with the Red Sox and MLB all around. Sure is gonna suck to not have any games to watch.

 

On another side of baseball, I got accepted to NABA (National Adult Baseball Association) to play during the winter, I'll be posting pics and stats and what not when I start next week.

 

Now let's all kick back, bask in the glory, and laugh as we see a flow of frontrunners hit the Introduce Yourself board.

The heated debate is half of the fun, but the ultimate hope by all of us is to have our team win it all. That is the common ground and our boys made it happen for all of us. Thanks to them and thanks to you guys and gals too. We are a sick bunch afflicted with a wonderful disease-- love of the BoSox.
