NFL Weekly Picks - Week 5

I sure hope we improve on last weeks record. Remember you must follow the rules to avoid conflicts. The rules :

Enties close 10/6/07 @ 6:00 PM EST

You must have 300 posts or more to enter.

There must be at least 15 entrants in each category.

Use the templates provided ( any edits/corrections use your original post and post the changes so that I can make a correction on the Master list ). Template are provided in the start of the thread. I'll also make and maintain a Master List of the picks in the second post on page 1.

Please examine the Master List before and after you post your selections. This is to avoid duplicate Tie Breaker picks ( which pretty much negates the purpose ). Duplicates picks in any other category are fine.

Indicate when you pick if you're just for recognition ( I assume everyone else is playing for prizes ).

Select your picks in BOLD.

You can pick up to three picks ( one in each category ).

There are three Prize Categories :

1) Spread Category : You're picking the favorite or the underdog. Choose the favorite then you're giving the points to the underdog. Conversely, choose the underdog and you get the points.

2) Straight Category : Very simple, just pick the winner.

3) Total Monday Night Points Scored : It's very easy, pick the total number of points that you think will be scored by both teams. This total is not only a separate prize Category, but also serves as a tie breaker in the other Categories. Hence, there will be no ties allowed. Again check the Master list before and after you post.

The Prizes are : $ 25 for each for the Spread and Straight Categories, $ 25 if you hit the Total Monday Night Points exactly, otherwise it serves as the tie breaker.

Remember to check the Master List on page 1, post 2.

The purpose of this contest is to have some fun, bragging rights, and a little pocket money. So have fun and if you have questions, post them or PM me.
