It's got nothing to do with him being on the team I like the least. Aikman was nails. Good decisions, good throws. Hated him but he was a top flight QB, and I have no problem admitting it. Romo does all the things other QBs get raked over the coals for, but he gets away with it because he's putting the numbers up. I'm skeptical of those numbers when he's playing with one of the best WRs ever and in a very good system. Do I think he flat out sucks? No, but Romo man-love from the announcers is a bit much. And you know what, it won't stop. When Favre retires, Romo takes his place as the fanboy target from the football pundits, except he has about 1/3 the talent Favre had when he was in his prime.

Nice win by the Jets this week. Sacked Roethlisberger 7 times (season high allowed was 4), Jones ran for 117 yards (hadn't allowed a 100 yard rusher in 34 games), and held the Steelers to 112 yards rushing as a team (averaged 151 per game).

 

Thing that stood out to me was the guys stepping up and making plays in the big spot, something they've been lacking all season. Short week off before they get Dallas on Thanksgiving. Let's make it 2 straight upsets.

Should be a good match up next thursday with Dallas v GB. I think Dallas has the better team, but their one big weakness is when the opposing offense spreads them out......Favre should have a good day!

Is the memory span of the NFL only two weeks? It seems like people forget how dangerous Devin Hester is after a couple of weeks and decide to kick to him again. Why? A kick where he has a chance to return is the most exciting play in football right now.

Piss poor 2nd half opening drive including 3 f***ing penalties, now its up to the shaky 1st half secondary to try and hold the lead. The Pats defense has held the Eagles offense scoreless on just 2 drives (1 of those drives was at the end of the 2nd quarter with 4 seconds to go)

Every team has a bad game. The Pats are looking like s*** tonight. Tip your cap to the Eagles, their contributing to making the Pats look abysmal at times, and really came to play.

 

I'm surprised that we're even winning this game right now, but I'll take it.

I do realize that, I was wary when it was announced the Pats were 24 point favorites over the Eagles. There are still concerns with the running game, my support of Maroney is either way with his early inability to stay on the field
