Buchholz was key tonight. pitching a no hitter is great in a blowout but coming in for multiple innings of relief during a 6-6 game when the bullpen was worn is a hell of an accomplishment

Wakefield missed a start due to a sore back. As just reported on NESN there was already double barrel action in the bullpen before he even took the mound in the 4th inning. The previous 2 innings were scoreless and his pitch count wasnt high. That makes me think that maybe he re-aggravated the injury
