RIP. I'll always remember when I saw one of his first saves (maybe his first save) at Fenway with the Sox at my friend's birthday party when I was young. We were about to leave the park but then I looked back and saw him get the final out and it was pretty sick...somewhat random memory but I'll always remember that out.

he had his demons. I hope it is natural causes' date=' cause I dont want to think less of him. I liked Shooter.[/quote']

It's very hard to believe that a 38-year-old would die of natural causes. He had a drug problem and went into rehab in 2004. Who knows if it worked?

Even if his death was drug-related, it wouldn't make me think less of him. Sure, he made a terrible, terrible decision, but that doesn't make or break the person he was.

RIP. i always got a kick out of seeing the sweat drip from the brim of his hat. the espn article makes him seem like the kind of guy you want to be around as much as you can if you have the oppurtunity. he'll be missed
