Like I said 10 days ago..Drew'Lugo/and Coco are WORTHLESS sacks of Shit..

All of you idiots sat there and told me I was making a big deal about nothing when we were 14.5 games up...now that is 7.5 maybe some of you know-nothing retards will wake the f*** up.. Don't you get it???? We got out to this great start because of "over their head" performances by the staff and Lowell+Youks. Now that they are cooling off..we are seeing the HUGE holes I spoke of. The Geniuses on this site in their infinite wisdom called me names and acted like I was totally off base..lol..what do you think now morons? Lugo/Derew/and Coco are basically automatic outs. Lugo is statistically one of the worst hitters in major league baseball sporting a .270 OBP..Coco is right there with him.....Drew is nothing more than a 5th outfielder... They are all USELESS and have NO chance of turning it on.....NONE of them. Lugo was absolutely abyssmal in the 2nd half last year and has continued his pathetic play. Coco sucked all year...and continues to suck..so he makes a few catches..Ellsbury is TWICE the fielder and I guarantee he can handle the stick at least as well as Choco Stiff. Drew is a pussy..he has no business in a town that actually cares about baseball.. This sackless Hayseed doesn't give a s*** win or lose..as long as he goes to heaven.

This team will easily be caught by the Yankees if we don't address the 3 GAPING holes in our lineup. You gotta go out and get an IMPACT player for one of these f***ing clowns or we will be lucky to make the playoffs..nevermind the division.

Yea, I got to "all of you..." and stopped reading. Sweeping generalizations don't really sit well with me.

I say we change this thread to a new topic. I feel like talking about how much Government Center sucks. It's a disgusting horrible waste of space. Thoughts?

Clearly' date=' the issue is that everyone here thinks Clement is better than Pedro. And, I mean everyone.[/quote']

Theo tanked 2005 as well, remember? If you've supported the Red Sox since then, you're implicitly thinking that Clement was better than Pedro.

Try looking up irony in the dictionary. I've "supported" this team since 1975 when I was 9. I guess I "implicitly" think Steve Renko was better than Luis Tiant by your logic.

Then again....look up "fan" in the dictionary.

..I think he was taking the joke and running with it.

I knew none of you would step up and admit you were wrong..You guys all thought it was a joke... Yeah..I hope you all enjoy the Yankees blowing by us if these holes are not filled.

I have been a Red Sox fan since age 6./..I am 34.. Evey loss hurts and I have not missed more than 5 games in the last 15-20 years... I live and die with this team,....but some of you need to take off the pnik hats and put down the pom poms. I am the 1st one to praise this team when they are playing hard and making good personnel moves..but all 3 of these moves I was against since day 1. Drew was the only one I didn;t think was 100% doomed from the get go..I may have given him too much credit. Where is this great plate discipline? He has been horrific.

I am also sick of Theo getting a free pass. He is lucky he has Henry's DEEP pockets to bail him out of all the stupid moves he has made. For every good move he has made..he has made two terrible ones. He is the most obverrated GM in sports...coming in a close 2nd is Cashman. ..but most of Cashman's blunders have not been as a result of talent eval...but more of getting players with questionable health records and rolling the dice...he has gotten burned by injuries while Theo has been burned by HEINOUS judgement in talent evaluation..Theo is bad.. wake up.

You are so Fire_Theo it isn't even funny.

If you didn't come off as so f***ing aggressive, people would pay attention to you. But everytime you come here it's because you're 100% right and everyone else is wrong and we should all just bow down and eat your s***. Give me a f***ing break. You're only here when you're bitching. MAYBE if you were willing to listen to what other people have to say we'd take you more seriously.

good point..I am just sickened by the lack of judgement by Theo...and further sickened that some people in Red Sox Nation still seem to think it is 2004 and are too busy constructing Theo's Shrine in Kenmore square to realize he isn't a very good GM...and he has too many holes for a team with a $150 mill payroll.

I am sorry for being abrasive..I am venting at the organization and Theo..and the 3 worthless wastes of semen we have in our lineup.

I mean no harm to all of you..I know all of you are just as disappointed as I am..

Sorry for those I have offended... If I spouted this s*** to my fiance' I would be ..uhhh...de-fianced???

Peace

This season's not over, yet?

Drew, more on him later....

Coco Crisp has been pathetic, and I'm sure more than 75% of the members are on the Wily Mo bandwagon.

Lugo has been ghastly, too.

That being said, these guys (with the exception of Crisp) are all better hitters than they are showing.

J.D. Drew has a career .890 OPS, he'll be fine.

I don't know why Lugo refuses to hit on the road, but I don't think we have an alternative right now, and I don't see one coming available. (.739 OPS to .447 OPS)

J.D Drew has drawn 31 BB's, which puts him in the top 20. He's not driving the ball, which isn't a huge shock, moving to Fenway has dimished his power.

Read my suggestions thread..see what you think.

My problem with Drew is not inability to draw walks..but moresoe swinging at bad pitches to K or pop out..or ground out weakly to 2nd. His plate disipline has been terrible. He can still draw walks..but too many times he gets himself out swinging at terrible pitches. If he had sluggers power numbers..this would be acceptable..but he has punch and judy sissy numbers...he should be more selective.

Dude, I don't recall overconfidence being an issue in this forum when the Sox were up 14.5. In fact what I do specifically remember is that the more respected and objective posters here were saying not to count the Yankees out...ever.

I think your comments are misplaced and represent the vast minority, not the majority.

Even a diehard yankee fan like myself did not expect them to mount such a swift comeback. But at this point, they are one short losing spell away from falling back into double digits. It should be interesting to watch.

You have the Mets tonight. I hope the Yanks die in a fire :)

Kidding. But I really do hope they get smoked.

Me too...but I think the Mets might be the only team in baseball colder than us. :dunno:

The Yanks have a somewhat of a mildly easy schedule coming up. They have the Mets at home, Then they travel to the West to take on the rockies and the Giants, then to Balimore. Then they take a final trip home before the All-Break facing Oakland, Minnesota, and the Angels. In that 22 game span they'll take probably 13.

The Sox on the other hand have a bit harder upcoming schedule. Giants this weekend, Travel to Atlanta, San Diego, and to Seattle to face the red hot Mariners. Then we have a homestand against Texas and Tampa Bay, than our final match up before the allstar break is at Detriot. I think we'll take 13, same as the Yankees. If this holds to be true we'll be up 7.5 games at the All-Star break and that is nothing to complain about.

I'm sure if Drew, Lugo, and/or Coco do not produce by then Theo will make some moves to keep us ahead.

If we take 13 of those games with the way this team has been playing I'll be thanking God.

Me too man I am getting scared . Yankees are on fire right now. Bat's need to wake up.

When did Fenway become a pitchers' park? You make it sound like he is playing in the Astrodome.

Fenway is overall a hitter's park, no is disputing that.

Fenway also significantly supresses home runs for left-handed batters.
