    That article was the writer blowing smoke up everyones ass. The very next day the FO said they are not trading Kemp. They are really pissed at Kent, and he will be available for trade if he picks up his players option next year.

    If Booing JD effects his playing ability then he is the biggest pussy in all of sports. If you invest 70 million into a player you better make sure he is tough enough to withstand being called out if he plays poorly. Hell, they booed Mike Schmidt in Philly to make him a better player. Did Bonds stop hitting homeruns when he was Booed? Somehow I don't think the booing effected those guys. Tek should just point out that Drew's number are starting to look better next to his to get the heat off of Drew.

    "Red Sox Nation West Coast" T-shirts, guess that comes with winning. Funny how everyone that jumped on the Yankee bandwagon in the late 90s are all life long Red Sox fans now. The best part is their expansive knowledge on the Red Sox, and the game of baseball. For his reason alone I hope the Cubs never win one again.

    That is what I thought, I went to the game with my girlfriend who is a die-hard Sox fan. We started riding Drew once he came into the game last night, and we kept the dialog really clean. I had this stupid Red Sox fan tell me I was effecting Drew's play, and I should not ride him so hard. I am guessing 1/2 the stadium last night jsut picked up their Sox gear before the game. What a joke, and that Stadium is a piece of crap. Ohh, and I finally got a first hand experence of the brilliance that is WMP. WMP = Man Ram on roller skates.

    What makes you think he can turn it around? He was a bust at 11 million a year. I don't see how throwing 70 million dollars at him will make him a better player. Which would you guys rather have, Drew's bat or Nomar's bat?

    That was the worse show ever. It was like they rounded up the crew that made Gigli, and told them to make a baseball movie. The editing on that show makes Godfather III look like a classic.

    What does your problems have anything to do with the Dodgers problem? If your team has so much confidence in the Drew signing, why did it take so long to get the deal signed? The Sox knew what they were getting and they wanted protection. If you really want to compare what the Dodgers did with the Sox, there is one major difference, the Dodgers thought Schmidt was fine and is going to be our horse, and Juan looked like a good pickup considering Drew opting out at the last second. Now the Sox knew Drew needed to to sit whenever he gets that not so fresh feeling. The Red Sox gave Drew 70 million dollars thinking the deal may not be the best thing for the team.
