Did they hit and run there? I was only paying half attention, but the only way Jeter making that play makes sense is if he was moving over to cover. There's no way they play him that far up the middle with Manny up, and that ball was pretty well hit.

Maybe, but I don't like the hit and run in that situation. You have a 2-0 count with Mussina giving up 2 hits in a row. I think you just let Manny be Manny and let him rake like he knows how to.
