That's not something you sit down and take. I'd come back way over the top, crossing all sorts of lines. I'd probably get my ass beat but at least I would make those f***ers feel bad.

They had to have been pretty terrified, it would take some balls to stand up and defend themselves. But that was completely assinine. It only takes a few total *******s to cause other mindless minor *******s to do things like that. The Mob Effect.

How old were the kids, 13?

Posted

They're calling him gay yet the sing a VILLAGE PEOPLE pardoy? Right...

Still, I don't pay to go to games just to be insulted and interrupted like that. Yankee fans are *******s.

Because Im sure Sox fans have never cursed out a young Yankee fan at Fenway right? I have a friend that was 14 years old and he was in boston wearing Yankee stuff. A Red Sox fan came up to him and said if you werent so young I'd punch you in the face. Instead he spit in his face. Yea all Sox fans are great fans.

Are we seriously trying to defend this?

Thumper made a general comment about how Yankee fans are *******s. I think we all know every team has bad fans and good fans.

Are we seriously taking anything Thumper says seriously? ;)

If i bought a ticket to the toilet to see a game i would expect to get heckled....the difference is i can defend myself. All these morons picking on 2 younger guys....nothing better to do i guess.

Of course the generalization that Thumper made wasn't great, but you're talking about one fan here. The whole bleacher section was having a great time heckling these young kids.

To our credit, it would probably be waaaay more clever/original than singing "why are you gay"

I see about 5-7 heckling and the rest are looking on. Thats not the only story I have about the Fenway faithful. Besides whats wrong with a little heckling? At least he didnt get spit in his face, or a knee in the face. If your gonna wear ur colors to a rivals stadium expect to be heckled. I wore my Rangers jersey to Nassau Coliseum and there were people trying to start fights with me non stop. It comes with the territory.

It's kind of fun to be heckled when you know you can defend yourself. At the Dome for the Sox series I got it pretty bad, especially because they assumed I was from Minneapolis and a Bandwagoner. It's fun to fuel their fire though.

Yeah i here ya. I was at the Santana v Tavarez game and i think some lady heckled us screaming some s*** as we pulled into the park taht was kinda funny cuz she sounded really like stupid haha. And some other guy started a Red Sox suck chant and i was sorta laughing.

Posted
Wow that was uncalled for. Those guys are tough man wow yelling at 13 year olds. Shows what kind of people they really are. That whole thing was just stupid but they will prolly get what they have coming to them one day.
Posted
it is all stupid. I am all for the sections giving the hearty boos or even the XXXX's suck chant depending on the stadium. But anything more than that is uncalled for. Some of my brethren make me sick.

wow' date=' even Lance Bass called and said "that's pretty gay"[/quote']

bwahahahahaha

lance bass calling them out for being gay??

There are bad fans of all teams, no doubt.

But the fact that there are multiple videos on youtube where Yankee "fans" are parodying their favorite Village Street tune says it all...I guess this is an everyday affair in the toilet?

I scrolled through some of the other vids all dedicated to the depraved Yankee "fans" and was particularly struck by the Yankees version of Sweet Caroline...performed behind the RF grandstand.

Getting rowdy behind the RF Grandstands? Oooooh...that takes balls.

LOL!

That's my section there, Section 39. The leader of the chant is Homo Larry. We have been doing this chant for years.

It's all done in fun, it's done during the sixth inning when the grounds crew comes out to smooth out the infield.

Actually, at the end of every one, we always shake hands with the fan we taunt, because it's just done to get a laugh out of everyone.

Also, for the record, no one has ever gotten into a fight into the bleachers because of it, mainly because if he did, the fan would get pummeled. It doesn't matter how big you are. If you are getting heckled, and throw the first punch, you will get your ass kicked, and then thrown in jail. I've been to Fenway, and gotten heckled much worse than that, but I take it since I'm in Fenway.

Last night, there were seven fights in the stands. Zero of them in the bleachers. We have been there for years, we police ourselves.

P.S. Good game.

So Gom is a BC? Not. Even. A little. Surprising.

Yup. Proud of it. We have the most fun, the funniest chants, we rip on opposing fans, right fielders, and box seats.

My company has good seats on the floor level about 35 rows up, but I love sitting out there. The atmosphere is the best in the stadium.

P.S. If any of you talk soxies are going to be in New York, I have an extra 1-2 tickets for nearly every Yanks/Sox game.

Don't worry, if you are internet tough guys/real pussies, I'll make sure no one heckles you. Then you can go back to your friends and brag about how you were all big and bad.

Seriously, the offer stands for you guys. It would be cool to hang out with the other side.
