i was watching fox sports net that night and heard "the friendly scoop" and it wasnt anything bad at all, paps basically said that he couldnt go into it

Thread title made it sound like a bigger deal, but all Papelbon said was Schilling's comments on Bonds werent too professional, which they were and most everyone knows that. But like I said in the other thread, the truth hurts, and schilling isnt afraid to speak it.

Curt's a world champion and possible HOFer and he's essentially being lectured to by someone almost half his age.

He was by no means being lectured by a Papelbon. What Papelbon said is what anyone would have said when asked that question. Papelbon said nothing wrong and I highly doubt that Curt, who was admittedly wrong with his comments, will take exception with Papelbon. This is a complete non issue. Period.

Papelbon was asked a question during a live T.V. interview and answered the question truthfully, I don't think a veteran will have a problem with that, seeing how Schilling himself said the comments were unprofessional. Face it, this is a non-issue, and will not affect the club what so ever.
