The Jays suck so bad. Troy Glaus ducked out of the way of the ball.... What a pussy. This is just pathetic.

Or he lost it in the lights.

You're in rare form tonight, f***wit.

I know, but IDK he has ever started off a season this hot. It is certainly in reach for him. So no, its not unreasonable. I'm not saying its going to happen, but that it is reasonable.

And Posada will hit .350 for the yr too. Wait...

Lowell could very well stay around .300 BA, maybe just a bit lower. He plenty of power to hit 30 HR, especially playing at Fenway. He certainly wasn't this hot last year around this time.

And reasonable doesn't mean that its a certainty. It's reasonable. It could happen, it could not happen. I certainly would say it is out of his reach.

Course I dont think Lowell will reach those numbers, just the same with Arod's pace (75 Hrs, 195 RBIs). I stil think he might be able to reach 25 HRs, with outside shot of nearing 100 RBIs

This team is just cruising along. The offense has been great, the starting pitching lights out, the bullpen has been one of the best. One game at a time towards october :)

So wrong about Lowell? I think he is going to have a great season. Don't be so quick to call me wrong. He's swinging the bat very well. His career high HR is 32, and he has hit over 100RBI twice. In this lineup, it is very likely he will have more than enough opportunities to drive in 100 runs. With the Monster at Fenway, he could very well hit 30+ HR. I'm not saying it's a certainty. I believe that he will do well. And it certainly isn't unreasonable. I'm not saying he's going to hit 50HR. 35 is within reach if he has a great season. Key, I said I believe he will have a great season. If that is so, then 35 homers is reasonable.

And wake leaves the game with the lowest ERA in the AL' date=' 1.79[/quote']I am glad the team is keeping the pedal to the metal. They need to put the Yankees as far in their rearview mirror as they can while we are hot and they are cold. If we can get them 10 games down before the end of May, it could be demoralizing for the Yankees. We will not steam roll like this all season. We will get our share of injuries and slumps. The Yankees will not play under .500 ball all year. The knuckleball is inconsistent and Wakefield is likely to streak in the other direction for about 4 or 5 weeks at some point. When the bad times come, it will be nice for the Yankees to have a nice mountain to climb.

Damn, Hinske is really hated in Toronto. Its not like he was a free agent & signed with the rival Sox, the Blue Jays traded him. Maybe they should boo the FO because the Sox just had to give up cash considerations
