I throw him back out there for the 5th. Can't have 5 innings of the pen tonight.

The more I think about it with this kid...might as well put him back there...he will be unhittable for the next couple innings before he falls apart again

He can't throw strikes out of the stretch. He is going to have a medicore season if he doesnt make major adjustment.

If Tito had balls he'd leave him in.

Against the Yankees you don't bring in the pen unless you absolutely MUST. Dice-K will get back out there, pitch from the windup and have to hold it together. Not Tito's fault. He has to go through this.

He paid for the walks and gave up a bloop single and a cricket-swat to right.

That's the thing with him. He did it in Toronto. He melted, and then came back and K'd the side. It's all in his head. I hope this doesn't become an issue. So far, he's like Mussina on steroids when it comes to the petulant melt down.

That's absolutely not true. He's had a runner on each inning, but his command was fine before. The problem is between the ears.

Yeah, maybe its when he multiple runners on. It just seems when he walks somebody it's usually followed by another. I hope it's not true but he seems to rattle easily.

Against the yankees in NY for the first time. I'm not worried about the guy yet.

Pedroia still looks lost, I would play Cora at least 2 times a week, until Dusty shows he can't hit consistently. I hope the kid pans out, but if he doesn't Cora will not hurt the team anymore than Pedroia.

I wouldn't be either if he hadn't already shown this in Toronto. Two times in 5 games he's completely melted after a close call walk. He needs to accept that its going to happen in this league.

Nice to see the boys pick him up a little with some offense.
