I agree completely. 4 runs on not very many well-hit balls, good control, use of all 3 pitches. And another chance to pad the lead.

Indeed he did. He has the Pedro Martinezesque controlled-wildness that I think makes batters scared. Fastballs that can start over the plate and work their way up and in.

 

Plus, he's innocent, he can't even speak English so it isn't even POSSIBLE that Francona told him to do it.
