therefore x+y+z=29 and none of the variables can be = to or be less than 0.

Happy CB? now there's no negative integers, and im sure ORS is a genious at math btw

everything in life is a variable, and it all results into an equation

boastful + unintelligence = you

varaibles dont need to be numbers

Explain yourself. You already gave us domain restrictions :rolleyes:

You do know what a domain is, right?

Define successful. I've earned a cumulative 3.75 GPA in Calculus I, II, III, Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations (applied boundary value problems), Vector and Tensor Analysis, and Probability and Statistics for Engineers. However, I don't work in the field of mathematics. Few people do.

:lol: Holy s*** there's no way in hell you're a senior. If you really are, well, you act like a sixth grader.

im just saying that there are mony factors that can conclude to the reasoning of Howard only hitting 29 HRs.

x= more BB, more SO

y= smarter pitchers

z= more workload because of lack of team production

therefore x+y+z=29 and none of the variables can be = to or be less than 0.

You really are a f***ing moron.

that statement is very out there - any reasoning?

btw, schillingouttheks - im glad that you can only be happy if i leave - nice to know im preventing your happiness

You saying x+y+z = 29 doesn't make any sense. Have you taken into account what he has done in the minors? His numbers show a trend of power numbers, not an aberration. Last year may have been odd because he hit 58, but it really isn't out of the ordinary for him to hit 40+, especially in that ballpark of his.

You are honestly saying that if Howard remains healthy and plays in a comparable number of games this year, half of which are in the same park, his HR total will be cut in half? A small drop, maybe 10-15 HRs less is logical, but almost a 30 HR drop?

That doesn't make any sense at all.

How many times does he need to post it?!?

I tried. Coming up short these days. Give me a little break though. I just had 400 questions worth of pain today. I'm a little slow.

Fair enough....but Chuck Norris jokes?

That's the act of a desperate man, Jacko.

I was only dead wrong on homers. I was correct on the decrease in average, but i didnt think it'd decrease that much. Everything else seemed close.

AVG HR RBI BB SO OBP

Predicted 0.297 29 120 120 192 0.415

Actual 0.268 47 136 107 199 0.392

% Error 10.8 -38.3 -11.8 12.1 -3.5 5.9

I dont think my predictions were too off from what he actually did (aside from homeruns).

My question was "Will he live up to the hype?"

And the answer is yes.
