Enough of the ballwashing of opposing players. Who, on teams other than the team of your affection, do you, or did you, hate/root against/wish would choke on a ham sandwich, etc. Remember, these guys are our entertainment, don't take this sh*t too seriously:

For me, as a kid following baseball starting in the late 60's, Some Yanks I dislike/disliked:

I hated Greg Nettles...prancing, cheap-shotting pu$$y who made big plays and unfortunately got the last laugh...couldn't stand that fker.

ARod..simply for his arrogance and posing on the field.

Piniella...I like him now, and I always said I'd have loved to have him on my team, but as an opposing player I despised him.

Mickey Rivers...the only thing he did that I liked was when he went back to the Fenway wall, leaped to make a catch and the ball came off the wall and hit him in the head...that was beautiful. Other than that he was a cocky motha, flipping the bat, flapping his gums, etc.

Ricky Henderson...just for being himself. what a jerk-off he was.

Karim Garcia...bling-wearing "tough guy" who ran into the BP to throw a shot at a Fenway employee who was already held to the ground...about as classless as they come.

Not to mention what Nettles did to Bill Lee in that brawl. Spaceman was never the same after that. IMO, it ended his career.

The first people that instantly come to mind, from my teen years, scare me. They both died suddenly. Both are Yankees (surprise!)

Thurman Munson and Billy Martin.

I was a big Fisk fan back then. Inside the Yanks/Sox rivaly was another, Fisk/Munson rivalry. Those two went head to head in every department.

As for Martin, I just couldn't stand him as a manager.

Bonds( the size of his head annoys me)

Boggs(NYY version)

Carl Everett(would have been dealing crack, but he could hit a fastball occasionly)

Albert Belle(Corked or un-corked, never liked him)

Gooden and Strawberry( for being complete waste's)

Sheffield(prick)

Black Jack Mcdowell(tool)

Thats all I can think of now, maybe more later.

miguel cairo what a fker... one of my favorite manny moment is when he robbed cairo's homer in 04 in NY...cairo rounded the bases thinking it was a dinger and when he found out manny caught it, manny gave him his patented two finger point...priceless.

I dont know what it is about cairo, whenever i see his face i just get pissed off

Thing is, the only squealy ********** I despise is schilling. Just for being an outgoing ******* and sticking it to us in 2 series for two different teams.

Other than that, you wont find too much hate from us yankee fans. Actually, old school yankee fans hate the orioles when they were nasty in 60s-70s. Maybe, Pedro when he tried to injure Soriano and Jeter. Maybe Varitek for fighting with ARod, but those are single moments. I dont hate any others, but that slimy prick Schilling.

probably because he was labelled by the media as a Pedro beater when he was in TB. I still remember the game where he hit a homer and then pedro plunked gerald williams and he charged.

Dan Patrick plays a sound bite from an interview he did w/ Rivers in 2004, I've heard it over 30 times and still don't know what the fk he is saying.....it's hilarious though.

I've always hated Reggie Jackson, classic cocky *******.

A-Rod, the Tek fight he could have avoided if he just STFU and slapping the ball from Bronson in the play offs. Him claiming people don't like him b/c he's so good looking or bi-racial.

Eric Byrnes b/c he's a dork and doesn't know it.

Barry Bonds, for obvious reasons.

Hawk Harrelson, the biggest White Sox homer announcer, he's nauseating.

Jim Palmer, the biggest Orioles homer announcer.

Peter Angelos, owner of the Orioles, who sucks and has ruined that team, hope Cal Ripken buys them as has been rumored.

What a great one! I (foolishly) thought we were limited to baseball!

Wasn't his nickname "babyface"? (It's been a while since I heard that name.)

Ken Dryden is tops for me in Hockey. He refused to play for the B's and killed us in the playoffs each year we met. He was a great goaltender, but against the B's, he wasn't human.

Dryden is a lawyer, which is another reason to hate him. His political career also leads me to believe that he is a commie too ;)

Buckner ehhh... makes my stomach turn... and idc if he's not the opponent...

Buckner gave everything he had for all of the 5 or so years he was with the Sox...to hate him is simply assinine. He put together a STELLAR baseball career with almost 3,000 hits and a career average of .289.

Yea he blew a play that had catastrophic repercussions...but the Sox would have never even have been in that position if it wasn't for what he gave them during the '86 season that preceeded Mookie's ground ball.

well,

bonds - obvious

sheffeild - prick

arod - the slap heard 'round the world

and the YES Network - for you new englanders who have never seen the yankees station, it is brutal. It will be a pop fly "And what a catch by the yankees; that was simply amazing because they have such great fundamentals, geting under the ball, just mind blowing." any other team, "Just a simple pop up, it can easily be caught; and it is" - i f***en hate the YES network. Glorifying bastards.

Also, the network that the Chicago Whte Sox are on, their anouncers are prolly more biassed than the yankee ones.

The tampa bay announcers arnt my favorite either, they suck.

alrite Ill clear it up for ya, i hate him for the play he didn't make, not for his all around career performance...

o ya I also really don't lie Joe Buck, the broadcaster on ESPN/FOX... he just gets me pissed, whenever they have the Sox/Yanks play he commentates on FOX usually and hes like pro-yankees, and just annoying...

You are aware that if he had made the play, the game still would have been tied? No guarentee the Sox would have won in extra innings. The bullpen blew that game. Buckner shouldn't have even been on the field, he was so hobbled and beat up. Another bad management move.....

Im gunna go the old fashioned way n say i ahet Tim McCarver's guts. I'm not so sure what makes him soo annoying but it really works. As for players I'll go with Bonds, Posada, ARod, Kenny Rogers, and outside of players everyone at Dodgerblues, and ignorant Yankee fans.
