I will say this, If we had to trade Manny Andruw is def. the best hitter on the Market to replace Manny, he is a very good player but I would take Manny next year over Andruw in a heartbeat.... Remember people Andruw could be gone next offseason... With the deal that Carlos Lee got do you really think the sox are willing to pay Jones 150 million over the next 6-7 years?

If you look the numbers are similar over the last 3 years... Manny dominates in every category over the last three years.

Manny is one of the greatest pure hitters in the game and unless we can acquire Jones, Loney, and Billengsley or some incredible package, he should be on the Red Sox next year because he is a perfect fit for this team.

Between Dan Patrick and his satrap Keith Olbermann I frankly wouldn't believe a word I hear from either of them. They seem to talk incessantly and say nothing. Besides, I have heard Patrick make predictions before and except for Phillips on ESPN I have never heard of anyone more wrong more times than this guy. Of course, I have an ax to grind. I don't want Manny in LA or anywhere else. We need him to protect Ortiz and take some of the pressure off of J.D. Drew. That would give us a pretty damn good 3-5 trio. :D :D
