I would say just getting Jones in return is the best value we're going to get. 35+ HR, 100+ RBI, .850+ OPS, and he's only 29. To get a cheaper, younger superstar in return for Manny would be amazing, and anything in addition would just be a bonus. Do this trade in a heartbeat.

Really? In my humble opinion, Jones is more valuable than Manny, mainly bcause of their age and defensive skills. Production is similar.

After you do that, if you can still say Manny is more valuable, I'd be surprised.

Im sorry, you just have to watch Manny every game to understand how good of a hitter he really is... Andruw Jones hits 260. While Manny hits 320. Manny has more RBIs and the homers are about the same... Andruw is younger but he strikes out like crazy and he is a FA after next season so there is no guarente that he will be back for 2008.

Did you look at the stats I posted, Jones is a 260 hitter who strikes out as much as Willy Mo, sure his defense is great, But Manny plays LF not center and how many games to does Manny lose with his glove, probally zero. He wins countless games with his bat. Plus Manny's teamates dont think he is an *******, he is a quiet guy who shows up everyday plays helps the sox win and then goes home... The media portrays him as an ******* because he never talks to the media...
