This?

I'm TOTALLY kidding seabeach, all in good fun

Schill, now that would help. All in good fun. Better than what our friend Yaz suggested.

Hey, a little humor goes a long way. Thanks.

PNU, speaking only for myself, welcome aboard. Again, only speaking for myself, I think this is one helluva Red Sox website and even though our colleague Ez may disagree we have our differences here but it never dissolves into personal name calling and insults to family members. Again, the Dodgers are my second team, but I have always followed the rivalry of your team and the Dodgers since I was a kid in Queens, and you can bet we will be having some neat exchanges when our two teams tangle next season. As for being gay, I don't know if you are kidding or not, but we don't do the gay bashing, or racist nonsense here. You will feel right at home, though I guess you aren't feeling too swift now that Jason Schmidt has gone over to the enemy. Have a good time here

Thanks for the kind words, Seabeach. I'm actually pretty pissed about the whole Schmidt deal. Things aren't looking too good for the Orange & Black this year. Both me and my partner have season tickets so hopefully Barry can hit #756 and give us something to cheer for.

Don't let those losers from Dodgerblues get you down. Trust me, they are jealous of your baseball knowledge and your lovely wife. Keep fighting the good fight!

what does linda think of your use of viagra?

Just kidding my friend. Hey I may be 66 but I still have something left. What was it that Redd Foxx used to say---"I'm not as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was."

On a more germaine subject, Red Sox fans pay poo poo the Yankees signing Pettitte but I for one think it was a pretty damn good move. The guy may not be the Pettitte of 1999 but he can still go out there and compete, eat up innings and win his share of the games. Now, more than ever, the Red Sox have got to get Matsuzaka and a closer or we'll be underdogs again. Then I might need some viagra.

PNU, I have something you may like if you haven't already heard of it. It is called sfgiantsdugout.com It is a Giants website and there are some damn good baseball people there. Just in case you download and get on there, which I would recommend, if you see a guy named SeaBeachFred there, it isn't me. A Dodger Blue guy who I made peace with called Garcia 213 took. I suppose it is a kind of flattery. Anyway, I have a different handle on that board. If you ever E-Mail me or send me a private message I will let you know what it is. But don't leave here, though. The more you post on this board the more you will like it. And I guess you have to like the fact that Bonds will break the record in the uniform of your beloved team. I might even be willing to buy a ticket or two from you to see the Giants and Dodgers up in their new ballpark if you would be willing to sell me one if I take a trip up there. Stay in touch and have a great weekend. Again, welcome aboard.

I already like this board. Great baseball discussion and classy people like yourself. I'll check out the Giants site you recommended.

Big orange crayons.

Linda, I like to go on other team boards to get a different perspective as to how other fans feel about their team and it is astounding how many of those people also like the Red Sox. In fact, there are Red Sox fans on all the boards. The only one I have ever had trouble with is your friends over on that damn DB site. Oh yes, there was one other, that, hark hark, I got run off. I acted like some of the guys on DB and was asked to leave, which they didn't have to ask me twice. However, that board did not have a bunch of nasty and filthy mouthed posters, just a bunch of namby-pamby weaklings who always seemed to follow the company line. I never followed the company line when I was a teacher and follow no such line now.

Those guys at DodgerBlues are notorious for their ruthlessness.

Those guys at DodgerBlues are notorious for their ruthlessness.

Being ruthless is all well and good if if it is directed at the persons involved on the board but it is classless and disgusting when a person's wife and daughter are thrown into the mix and called a series of vile names. They wouldn't say those things to your face and they wouldn't say them to mine, so why say it at all? BTW, that picture on the left of your name bears a slight resemblance to one they took of me back in 1983 at the Fast Freddie Dance at Arcadia HS; even the shirt looks familiar. If it is me where the hell did you get it? We used to have those dances every year while I was the director of the Forensics Club (Speech Team), and we used to make close to $2,000 dollars every fall when we sponsored that dance. Later on when I stopped coaching that team the demographics changed quite a bit and most Asian students didn't attend dances or football games so those dances came to an end. A pity. Good handle you have, though. If your're interested, send me a private message and we can share a few more thoughts. Keep the handle, though. I like it.:D :D :D :D
