That's the first thing that went through my mind. Even though I'm sure it's just a coincidence, it sure is creepy.

 

Condolences to the New York Yankees, his family, his friends, and anyone else he was close to. RIP.

According to CNN.com the plane that crashed into an upper east side apartment building was flown by Yankees pitcher Corey Lidle.

There couldn't have been a flight instructor on board. Surely two people with even mediocre flying skills would have been able to avert a building.

Yea he borrowed it from Lide and crashed into a building on 72nd street...Pavano is expected to return by Spring Training 2011..

 

This was found on YESNETWORK.COM How twisted can you be? If this were Matt Clement or Julian Tavarez or even a single A player it would still be tragic to the RedSox organization. Just incredible how some people believe winning baseball games is more important than life.
