Its alright "schiilingouttheKs", you did a much better job on the game threads than me anyway. My last post was me being courteous, not annoyed, just so you know.

too bad about liriano and radke or the twins wouldve been a bitch to beat

i know ive busted on billy beanes ass all season long

but he has indeed did a great job again in americas capitol of barbed wire and ebonics

he seems to have a knack for developing pitchers and as usual

he gets a big bang for his buck..

i like the a's here for 1 reason

pitching depth

however they'll see santana probably twice in this set so anythings possible

the a's in 5 but im rooting for minny

I've said this to anyone who'll listen and I'm not the first nor will I be the last:

Santana is the new Pedro. He's far and away the most dominant pitcher in the game, and the Twins have to LOVE having him be able to pitch 2 games. That and Brad Radke gives them a solid 1-2 punch.

The A's though have a deep pitching staff but Zito hasn't been all that great in the playoffs. The Twins should take this series in 5 based solely on the fact that they'll have Santana in the first and Santana in the 5th. They can win at least 1 of the other 3 games and give Santana a chance to clinch it.

Joe Morgan: A very good outing for Zito to match Santana

Yea ok Morgan, Zito was still outclassed by Santana by a mile

Santana

swinging strikeout

swinging strikeout

weak grounder to shortstop

Zito

5 pitch walk

Punto helped Zito out by swinging at what wouldve been a 3-1 count

Castillo bad lead off of 1st, thrown out at 1st easily

fly out to right

ground out to shortstop

frank thomas??

kenny williams mustve puked up a lung

Why, does he pitch?

They didn't struggle at the DH position, and it didn't cost them much with Philly putting up a good portion of Thome's salary. That was the best lineup this year until Cano, Matsui, and Sheffield came back.
