Since the sox have fallen apart, I have been watching the Dodgers and started rooting for them (just for this year). I want to see Nomar and Grady win a championship as well as D-Lowe. Its a very interesting team out their, and they kind of remind me of the 03 Red Sox. It will still be a fairly entertaning october even with out our beloved sox in the mix.

Yankees vs. Dodgers would be an interesting match up (I'm sure the guys at Fox are just drooling over the little clips to play at the start of each broadcast.)

Same here. i love nomar and lowe and the other guys just are awesome. There my nl team. My AL team (here come the boo's) are the yanks. I don't like any of the teams in the al playoffs and besides the *******s that spam red sox forums, i wouldnt mind them doing alright. If someone other then the dodgers/pad's make the WS, I'm rooting for the AL.

While ESPN/ABC wishes they could broadcast the WS: NYY-NYM

This is an indefensible position for a guy who calls himself Soxfan#1. Yezsir needs to change to something more apt like Poser#1 or something.

I agree!! He is not fit to carry the name Soxfan#1. "Number 1 Fraud" would be more appropriate.

I was seriously rooting for a Twins-Mets World Series, but now that Pedro wont be pitching and the Mets rotation seems to be falling apart, I dont think theyll make it to the Series. Hence, Twins-Stros.

Id like it to be Astros over Twins in four, with the final game win a walk-off shot by Biggio.

Wont happen, Im guessing. Twins over Astros in six.

Who gives two shits? I've hated the twins and A's since 2000 and I hate Guilenn. Do I care what guys on a internet forum think? Not in this case....

If you call yourself a Sox fan, and your hate doesn't begin in NY, then you are just doing it wrong, my man.

Oh, and drop the, "I don't care what you think" crap. Nobody cares if you care about internet chatter, so it's a non-issue. Although, responding is evidence that it matters to you on some level.

Whoah damn only time ever I rooted the Yanks to win the World Series was when they were America's team in October 2001, a month after the 9/11 attacks.

Other than that scenario, having the Yankees as the team you are going to root for in the playoffs is sacriligous if you're a die hard Sox fan.

Tomorrow I will be rooting for the Dodgers like they were the Red Sox. I have really enjoyed getting finally to rooting for them after 49 years of believing that I despised them for leaving Brooklyn. I want them to win the NL and take care of the Yankees in the Series. Of course, next year I would like to see the Red Sox and Dodgers play in it and see the Red Sox take them in five.

C'mon dad. First you're a Red sox fan, then you're a Dodger fan again, then mid season you were a Mets fan and now you're a Dodger fan again. And I know you'll be a Red Sox fan again by the beginning of the 07 season. You gotta stick to one team dad. You can't be respected by baseball fans if you're just jumping from team to team. Don't disrespect this great site and the Red Sox nation by changing teams like you do underwear. ;)

I made this just for you. A pic of you with a special message. I'll take it off if you promise us all to just be a Red Sox fan.

I just want dad to stick to one team already. How can one be considered a true fan of a team when you're switching caps and allegiances on a daily basis. I love my Red Sox but when the same guy that introduced you to the sport starts switching teams, it's just totally out of left field. You can count on me to be faithful to the Nation of Domination.

My dad's gonna get a kick when he sees this, but hey you gotta pay a price of some sort for cheering for another team. Think of it as an avatar bet of some sort. I just strongly and firmly believe that being a fan of a team is like a marriage. You gotta take it serious and be faithful. Just cause the Red Sox are out doesn't mean you gotta put a different cap on and cheer the current hot team in the playoffs. You gotta suffer along with the team and stick with them. It's so easy to cheer a team when it's doing good but when they're down, that's where the real loyalty lies. I repsect my Dodger fans in Arcadia but I'm not gonna fool them into thinking I've always been a fan of their team just cause my team is out. We'll see if dad wakes up and stops his nonsense of frontrunning. ;)

Did you realize that you despised them for a different reason?

after the dodgers had 2 men thrown out at the plate in the same at bat i swore them off

60 years of baseball experience between drew and kent and this is what they do in the big stage??

f***em

they dont deserve to win

I dont blame Kent for that play, seeing as he was following the third base coach. I blame Drew for not keeping an eye on the plate and noticing that the runner in front of him had been thrown out a full five seconds before he barreled into Lo Duca.
