I'll be finding out tomorrow. I have one now' date=' and I need to go up to the hardware store tomorrow to get a splitter for the cable line that feeds my cable modem. According to the box you supply it signal to the internet through a router, a cable signal, and install the software and you are set. Next spring, I'll send it up to my wife's uncle who lives in Sandwich and coordinate with him about setting it up. No more opponent broadcasts. No more subscription fees. No more blackouts. :D[/quote']Keep me posted. My daughter is up at Northeastern. It's the least she can do for the exorbitantly high tuition.

Russ Adams doesn't have an injury history, does he ORS?

:thumbdown

Yep, 4 trips to the DL in the last 3 days.

Damn. I thought you were talking about Nixon's injury habits. I guess you're really just concerned with Russ Adams.

In any case, I don't get the sense that Nixon was badly injured--or that they were even talking about Nixon--since I'm listening to the game and didn't hear anything.

Sure thing. Although, you'll have to watch on your computer instead of your TV. You know what would be a good idea. Big screen LCD's and Plasma's with BUS terminals to act as computer monitors.....hell, you could even go wireless with that now. Just put a little microcontroller and filter with an antenna somewhere in the casing. A lot of people stream data on the internet now, but I'm sure they'd love an option to see it on a bigger screen.

Million dollar idea just waiting to happen.

Yeah I have NESN

Hansack has this Tavarez/toned down El Duque pitching motion when there is no one on base. He seems to hide the ball really well from opposing batters. His fastball at first was 84-87 (probably from nerves) since then its sprouted to the low 90's. He's hitting his spots on the outside corners, good control he's displaying. He's earning himself a promotion to Triple A, maybe a game or 2 this next spring training.

Call the patent office, cause I'm sure nobody has thought of that before.

I'm willing to bet that 10 years from now TVs and computers will be much more closely aligned. Hell, I like my computer a lot more than my TV right now. It can do way more stuff.

Apple is coming out with iTV, where you transfer anything from your comp to this little box on top of your TV and its transfered to your TV.

Can Apple devise some type of relief pitching computer that would find the Sox a bullpen? If not can they at least do something about weekly blackouts? Geezum.

His ball-strike ratio looks good. You like to see that from young pitchers.

Stinkskie' date=' Gonzo and Pedroia due up in the 6th. I'm sure that Burnett is having an anxiety attack.[/quote']

If I was burnett I would be having constant anxiety attacks, fearing that my arm will fall off with just one more pitch. the guy is walking wounded at all times.

Plus, Pedroia already took him deep apparently.

Not exactly an awe inspiring group, despite Pedroia's homer.

MENDOZA!!!

D-Ped just cracked the Mendoza Line. 700, say something bad about him every day, he's been raking ever since you started razzing.

If it works. I'll do it. :D I think he'll be a good major leaguer yet, but I just don't think they can afford a lack of consistency at the top of the lineup while he's learning. They either have to beef up the lineup, so he can be hidden at the bottom of the lineup, or they have to keep Loretta who is Mr. consistency and let pedroia play Cora's role.

I was watching last night, and Pedroyer looked really good on one turn I saw. He got pressure on his backside by the runner being close and even ended up getting flipped but still got the runner down the line by a step or two. Really good play.

he was 1 for his last 10 before this game

The 11 for 32 incorporates the 1 for 10 -- nice job killing your argument, whatever it was.
