How come everyone can agree that Howard is the MVP in the NL but they scoff at Papi being it in the AL? If Jeter deserves it then doesn't Jose Reyes deserve a look too? The guy has 19 HR and 17 3B with 50+ SBs while being a SS for the OTHER team with the best record in its own league. It feels inconsistent for some reason.

I think it's a reach to give the guy credit for a WP. The WP was on the 3rd pitch of the AB on an 0-2 pitch. It wasn't a good AB.
