Clemson/BC was a good game. I had it on during commercial breaks for the ND game. I hope we get something like that from Texas/OSU tonight.

And, what about next week? Florida/Tennesse, ND/Michigan, and the game of the week, IMO, LSU/Auburn.

Whoa' date=' whoa. Where do you live? If I step outside my house, I can hear the stadium as well...[/quote']

You lucky bastards. My daughter is at Northeastern just a short walk away. Me, I need Direct TV.

MDC's ERA continues to bloat and we are losing again to these guys. A bunch of nobodys are beating the second highest payroll team for the 5th consecutive time.

For you night owls, Fresno St. is giving another top-20 PAC-10 team a run for their money. 17-17, with about 7:00 left in the 3rd. It's on ESPN2.

ND's TE botches a little dink pass in the flat, setting it up on a platter for Michigan's LB to take it to the house. Early break Michigan. 7-0.

27-7, Notre Dame's getting destroyed -- there's no reason to think the offense will score again, let alone score at least 20.

Brady Quinn looks absolutely awful. Terrail Lambert, #20 on Notre Dame's defense, looks remarkably worse.

I wouldn't call it awful. His TE really didn't do him any favors with that bobble. If he hangs on to that, he's 11-20 for about 100 yds and 2/0 TD/INT. Not stellar, but not awful.

I'm more surprised at how easily Michigan is moving the ball against ND's defense. Even with that though, the two ND screw-ups (INT and fumbled KO return) have lead to 14 pts. Different game without those two miscues. I'm not trying to excuse them for doing those things, but they were pretty uncharacteristic plays.

Well, on that final drive he was, what, 7 for 7? That helped his numbers quite a bit. Before that he was throwing balls he shouldn't have, hitting WR's in the knees on short posts, and just not looking good.

And yeah, it's a completely different game without those miscues. It's still within' reach if we can get some stops. Quinn might be able to carry over that final drive success into the second half. With Lloyd Carr standing on the Michigan sideline, I still have faith.

However, I'll stand by my point that #20 for Notre Dame is atrocious. He looks completely clueless.

I love watching the U get their hat handed to them. There's a lot of 'Cane fans on the radio down here in FL, and they will be livid and calling for Coker's head after this game. They want a coach who will come in and allow the lunatics to run the assylum -- ie let the thugs be thugs. Problem is, they don't understand that Coker doesn't care about that stuff. It's the president (dean?) of the University of Miami, Donna Shalayla, that wanted the program cleaned up, so no matter who his replacement is, they still won't have the thug attitude, nor will they allow super talented athletes with questionable crime history from south Florida attend the school.

I don't recall. I want to say the legal troubles continued.

Game of the day is on CBS for those interested. LSU/Auburn is a defensive slobber-knocker. Both of these teams really attack the ball.

Thanks for reminding me! Forgot that it was on.

That's a tough call. It was PI, but the ball wouldn't have gotten there anyway because the safety came and made a play on it in front of the receiver.

Nevermind, flag is waived.
