The Sox pitching this series really stepped it up, more than I thought would since what has happened this past month (worst ERA in majors)

Wow, this is a series that we SHOULD sweep, but I'll take 2/3. I'm very impressed that after that long 5 game series and a long trip out to Anaheim, the Sox were still able to take 2/3 from the Angels. Quite impressive if you ask me.

i too was surprised we took 2/3 from the angels....just goes to show gm stoneman's miscalculation in not bringing in more offense to help vlad... that really has been the angels' achilles heel all season long, even after losing colon for the season.

In a perfect world, we sweep Seatle, Yanks get swept by angles, and The Twins take 2 out of three from the Chi Sox. If this were to take place we would be only 2.5 back on New York with 4 head to head games left, and V- Tek and Wake coming back next week!
