Reeeealllly random. WBC was flawed, best team couldn't have won, it was a 1 game series for each. I saw DR play in person, they were clearly the team with the best talent.

He throws harder than 87-88. He is 89-93 when he is on. The guns may be off a bit. He is also lefthanded and has alot of upside. I'm sorry but I don't call a guy a bust after 1 year after seeing many pitchers struggle early on only to go on to future success.

Honestly what do you expect out of a guy that was thrust on the scene due to guys being injured. Did you really expect him to carry this team to October glory in his first season?

Lester is simply not ML ready. 700 raises an intresting question about his velocity. All of the scouting reports I have read have him sitting at 92-94 MPH and touching 95. Oh late hes been sitting around 88 and maybe thats a product of innings pitched.

Why I am negative on Pedro. Pedro is on the downhill of his career that is why and has a much bigger injury history than Lester. Pedro was a great pitcher at one point in career. He is not that pitcher anymore. Lester will never be Pedro and I don't expect him to be. But to get all over the kid in Rookie year is ridiculous in my mind.

Who is all over him. I just think he is over-hyped. That's all I said. Back to Pedro, what arm problems has he had recently. He has a problematic hip and toe, but when is the last time he had arm problems?
