Today's Theme: "I SEEM TO HAVE LOST MY BAT"

Where oh where have the Red Sox bats gone? I, like all of you, am ecstatic that they shut out the opponent the last two games. However, the offense has been, no offense, offensive. With the search party out looking for the Sox lumber, I think I've found a substitution that will enable them to hit the ball better....

...why doesn't he sit Papi when we play the Mariners? We need all the offense we can get when going up against a team with an offense like Texas. AND HE TOOK LOWELL OUT?

Meh, maybe just get as many right handed batters in there as possbile. Of course, taking out Lowell and inserting Cora at 3B makes NO SENSE to me. Cora's a left handed batter as well. What is Tito doing with that? I understand everything else, and I'm glad to see Wily Mo back, but my God why take out Lowell AND Papi? Put Wily Mo in RF, and leave Papi in.

Then again, I guess a complete mix up and some good rest for the starters will hopefully turn things around. I just don't understand why Tito's putting unusual people out there against a team with a great offense like Texas. Wait to do it against Seattle, tomorrow.

He should have had Wily Mo bat 5th. Not Tek.

3-0 count to Varitek who is batting below .250 and he swings......what is going on today?

He was given the green light from the dugout. The only player that calls his own green light is Papi, according to Tito

Yeah thats great.....doesn't answer the question....why would anyone give the green light to someone batting below .250 to swing at a 3-0 count. Not playing the odds too well on that one.

Welcome back Wily Mo

he's picking up where he left off- 2 for 3, Double, 2 RBIs, Walk

And are my eyes being deceived, but the Tek we know seems to be back after the All-Star Break-- 8 for 22, 2 Doubles, 3 RBIs

Anyone object to having Wily Mo Pena playing more down the stretch. Nixon is tailing off like i predicted he would and isn't coming back anyways.

You will lose a lot in the field. Nixon is a far superior fielder. I'd actually rather see WMP play a little CF for Crisp if he keeps hitting in the .260's.
