At least you only play them 6 or 9 times a year. We have to watch Catalanotto morph into Fred Lynn, Reed Johnson goes all Chemically Altered Brady Anderson, and Vernon Wells goes from All-Star to HOF on us 18-19 times a year.

As I was posting that the first thing that came to mind was the Blue Jays against you guys. However the Angels have played us well for around 10 years now including knocking us out of the playoffs twice (They werent better then us last year and they still beat us). It just makes no sense.

Holy crap. I didn't realize Weaver was at 70 pitches through 3. He's only let 4 runners on. Is he going full on everyone?

He's very similar to Lester when it comes to pitch efficiency, except he's more talented. Once Weaver gets better control, he'll be great.

With at least 5mph more on his fastball than Lester.

Yeah, I didn't expect him to have so many strikeouts right out of the gate this season, but he's shown that he can be a complete pitcher with a little better control.

How dare that jackass, Michael Kay call Cal Ripken's streak an "albatross" for the Oriole organization. This is not the first time I have heard him say this. How come he doesn't say that the Gehrig streak was an albatross for the Yankees? Certainly, there were days before his fatal illness that he should not have been playing. I have read that they put him up leadoff in games and took him out after his at bat to keep the streak alive. It's things like this that make M. Kay a pompous ass jackass.

I'd really like to hear the defense of the Yankee fans of Kay on this one. He's such a smug jerk.

Edit: Let's not forget that he declare the Red Sox dead last week. I'd love to watch the Red Sox stuff it up his smug ass and win the division knocking the Yanks out of the playoffs.

Holy s***. 1 minute before A-rod hit his homer, I told my friend that he was going to do it.

Best stat padder of our generation. More meaningless homers than anyone in the history of the game.

I think I've stated many times how much I dislike Kay. So you will not hear any defense from me.

Are you serious? There's no such thing as stat padding. What was he supposed to do in that situation? Deliberately K so nobody would call him a stat padder? That's absurd.

Yes.

But no. He just seems to do it when it's too late, or too early.
